Hey Reader, The question has already started coming in: “What are we studying next?” Well, consider this your official invitation. 👑 Beginning October 12, we’re opening our Bibles together and stepping into the Book of Esther. You may already know about the queen, the courage, and those famous words, “for such a time as this,” but I can tell you now—there is so much more waiting for us in this story. So, here are the details for your invitation: WHO: You & Friends Each teaching will be available beginning at 7:00 AM ET, which means you can study when it works best for you. Watch before work, during lunch, after the kids go to bed, with a few friends, or whenever you’ve intentionally made room to get into the Word. Our latest Companion Study Guide, Preserved for Purpose: Esther Companion Study Guide, is also available if you want to take your personal study even deeper.
You don't need the study guide to join us on YouTube, but I highly encourage it if you want to slow down and dig deeper throughout the week. The 10-day guide follows us chapter by chapter through Esther with focused readings, overviews, and questions designed to help you engage the text and strengthen your understanding of Scripture. As we study the Book of Esther together, we will begin to see mourning become celebration, threats turn toward preservation, and seemingly ordinary moments become turning points in a much larger story. This isn't simply an invitation to learn more about Esther. It's an invitation to see God more clearly through His Word. So pick your study time, put it on your calendar, grab your Bible, and invite someone to study alongside you. And if you're ready to take your personal study a little deeper, grab your Companion Study Guide before we begin. Your invitation has officially arrived. 👑 Can’t wait to study with you!

If you’ve ever felt like you should know how to study the Bible but just weren’t sure where to begin, you’re in the right place. In this space, I share practical, Spirit-led teachings and tips to help you study with confidence, apply truth in real life, and reconnect with the heart of God through Scripture.
Hey Reader, “For such a time as this.” It has become somewhat of a clarion call in Christian circles. We quote it when someone steps into purpose, begins something new, or recognizes that perhaps God has positioned them somewhere for a reason. And there’s nothing wrong with that. But as I prepared for our upcoming study through Esther, I was reminded of something important: those words were spoken in the midst of grief, uncertainty, difficulty, and an unimaginable amount of weightiness....
Hey Reader, Last week, we began a three-part conversation I'm calling, The Return. We talked about those seasons when life gets busy, our rhythms change, and we suddenly recognize a distance in our time with God. Rather than allowing guilt or shame to keep us focused on the distance, I encouraged us to focus on the return because the distance may have happened, but the return is what matters most. This week, I want to share one of the ways I intentionally return when I recognize that distance...
Hey Reader, Yesterday, during our Deeper Roots Community gathering, we talked about something that I haven't been able to stop thinking about, and I felt like it was worth bringing here for our Weekend in the Word. You know how life gets busy, time gets away from us, and things keep being added to the to-do list? Before we know it, the day has become a week, the week has become a month, and somewhere in all of that busyness, we realize it has affected our time with God too. That realization...
