Here's what 60 days actually looks like.

Reader,

I want to show you something before June 1 gets here.

Because Summer in the Psalms isn't just a reading plan — it's a rhythm. And coming off our weekly Thessalonians study, daily is going to feel different. Not harder. Just closer. More intimate. One Psalm, one day, one conversation with God at a time.

Here's how each day works:

1. Read it. Open your journal and read the Psalm in the KJV — the text is already printed inside for you. No extra books needed.

2. Watch it. Head over to the Summer in the Psalms 51-100 playlist on YouTube. I teach each Psalm in the NLT — the historical context, the author's story, how this Psalm threads into the rest of Scripture. Short, practical, designed to meet you wherever you are in your day. Be sure to subscribe to the challenge for daily notifications when they go out.

3. Listen to it. Subscribe to the YouVersion Bible plan and let the Word travel with you — your commute, your walk, your lunch break. Two ears, one Psalm.

4. Write it. Choose a second translation — ESV, NIV, NKJV — and write the Psalm out by hand in your journal. Something happens when you slow down enough to write the Word instead of just read it. This step is not optional.

Four steps. One Psalm. Ten to fifteen minutes.

That's it. That's the whole rhythm.

And the journal is where all four steps live. The KJV text is already there for step one. The guided reflection space is there for step four. Everything runs through it.

At 181 pages of high-quality guided content, this is not something you want to try to print at home. The physical copy is built to be used — written in, carried, worn at the edges by the time August arrives.

Order now. It ships in 10–14 days and we begin June 1.

Reader, Mid-July. The summer is at its fullest — long evenings, slower pace, the kind of heat that makes you move differently through your day. And six weeks into this journey, I want to ask you something honest before we open this week's Psalms. Not rhetorical — real. How are you doing with the rhythm? Are you still showing up? Still writing? Still watching? Because this is the week the drift becomes a choice. Not a failure — a choice. Either the rhythm that has been building since June 1...

Reader, July has a different feel than June. The summer is no longer new. The rhythm you started building on June 1 has either taken root or quietly loosened, and most of us know which one is true without having to think too hard about it. Either way, this Monday morning is an invitation back to the Word. No guilt about what was missed. Just an open journal and one more Psalm. Before we jump into this week's readings, can I ask you something? How is Summer in the Psalms going for you? Some of...

Reader, The middle of a journey has its own particular weight. The beginning had momentum. The end has a finish line in sight. But the middle — week four, day twenty-two — is where you find out what you're actually made of. If you're here, reading this, still in it — that matters more than you know. Last week, we followed David from the wilderness of Judah into worship, watching remembrance become the bridge between longing and praise. The seed we planted: when you cannot feel God's nearness,...
