Here’s why d****ing is so dangerous…

Hey Reader,

Most of us don't walk away from the Word dramatically.
We just stop having somewhere to go with it.

The study ends. Life fills back in. And somewhere between Sunday and Sunday, our Bible stays closed. Not because we don't want to open it or stop caring, but because there’s no structure pulling us back and no one studying alongside us.

It’s easy for that to feel like “falling away.” But it’s really the beginning of something more subtle and more dangerous.

Drifting.

I’ve learned that if we're not growing, we're drifting.
The problem is that drifting doesn't feel dangerous. It has a way of becoming the new normal before you realize it’s happened. That's what makes it so dangerous.

Abide Inner Circle exists to interrupt that.

Right now, inside Abide, we are in the middle of a study you will not find on YouTube. We are reading Literally together, and having Gatherings to study the 12 tribes of Israel.

The 12 tribes aren't background details. They are the foundation of God's story, woven from Genesis to Revelation. This is the only place I'm teaching it this way: live, with sisters who are studying it together. If you join this week, you walk in with seven tribes still ahead of you.

Founding membership closes this upcoming Friday, May 15. When you join before then, you lock in at $25/month, and you receive two resources included with this launch only:

  • Bible Study Blueprint — a practical framework for anyone who wants to read the Bible consistently, but has never been given a real method. You’ll walk away knowing how to open scripture with intention, not just goodwill.
  • I Can't Come Down — an exclusive resource on purpose and assignment, drawn from the first six chapters of Nehemiah, designed to help you confidently answer the question “What is God asking me to do with what I’m learning?” after you start going deeper in the Word.

If you're ready to be a student of the Word, come join us at wordandseed.com/community.

Time with God is time you will never regret spending.

With you in the Word,

Reader, I’ve been pondering a simple question this week: How do we return when life has crowded out the space we once guarded for God? Not because we stopped loving Him, but because life got loud, rhythms got disrupted, and before we knew it, what once felt protected began to feel crowded. And maybe the deeper question underneath that is this: How do we slow down enough to sit in surrender?
